WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Work with finance team on accounting-related projects.
• Coordinate planning activities with other CapMetro departments and external stakeholders.
• Use finance software and assist with the training of staff personnel in the use of software. 
• Assist with financial reporting and auditing.
• Support Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Safety Management Systems (SMS) process by following safety and security policies, considering safety in every action and reporting safety and security concerns.? 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university with a major in Accounting. 
• Experience in financial accounts, reconciliations, preparing and reporting financial data, and maintaining complex databases.
• Experience in the use of financial systems.
